Sophie Sophaon

Sophie Sophaon is Director of Client Services at Walek & Associates and heads the Hong Kong office where she is responsible for overseeing all Asia Pacific activity. She was previously an Account Executive in the firm’s New York office handling accounts for the Global Capital Practice Group.  

Before joining Walek, Sophie was an executive recruiter for the legal profession, serving American Lawyer 100 firms in the New York City market. Prior to that, Sophie worked at Milbank, Tweed ,Hadley & McCloy LLP, where she was responsible for internal communication focused on continuing legal education, compliance with firm policies and New York State Bar Association

regulations.

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a minor in Socio-cultural Anthropology from The George Washington University. She is currently working toward her certificate in public relations from New York University, School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Sophie enjoys keeping up with international news, gourmet cooking and tennis.
