Armel Leslie

Armel Leslie is a Principal at Walek & Associates and heads the Global Capital practice group.

Since joining Walek & Associates in 1999, he has spearheaded public relations programs for a wide array of capital markets clients including Dow Jones Indexes, GFI Group, JPMorgan Asset Management, Man Group, Paulson & Co. and UBP Asset Management.

Armel was the account executive for the New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute when Walek & Associates won the "Best Communications" award. He is a member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

A native of South Africa, Armel studied business management at the University of South Africa, Johannesburg, and graduated cum laude with a BA in History from Baruch College, City University of New York where he also started his career as a Public Relations Officer.
