Stefan Prelog
Stefan
Prelog is a Vice President at Walek & Associates responsible for
executing media and public relations programs for the firm’s
Global Capital Practice Group.
Since
joining Walek in 2008, he has been responsible for implementing and
executing public relations programs
for
a variety of capital markets clients. He has also been involved
with developing hedge fund launch campaigns, assisting with activist
and crises situations and consulting on investor relations.
In May 2010, he launched Walek's Book Projects and Promotions division.
The division works with publishers and authors to strategically position
financial and investment titles across all media platforms, as well
as assisting clients who are interested in writing books with all
stages of the publishing process.
Before
joining Walek, Stefan designed and executed media relations campaigns
for business publishers including Crown Business, Harper Business
and Wiley & Sons, Inc. He also worked with leading financial
executives including The Vanguard Group founder John C. Bogle, Greenlight
Capital Inc. Founder and President David einhorn, Investor's
Business Daily founder William O'Neill, and Rich Dad, Poor Dad series
author Robert Kiyosaki in support of book launches and ongoing exposure.
Stefan
holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication
from the University of North Carolina– Chapel Hill and a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and Political
Science from Rutgers College.
