Morrison Shafroth
Morrison Shafroth is Vice President and
heads the Walek & Associates Boulder, Colorado office.
With more than 20 years in corporate public relations, business communications
and journalism, Morrison (Mo) Shafroth has successfully directed numerous
communications campaigns for leading firms across asset management
and financial services including Charles Schwab, Dreman Value Management,
Grail Advisors, Lipper, Rydex|SGI, Transamerica Funds and Brownfields
Capital.
Prior to joining Walek & Associates, Shafroth was director of
the financial services and sustainability practices at CSG|PR in Denver.
He also served in corporate communications as director of PR at Charles
Schwab & Co., Inc., developing communications for the launch of
Charles Schwab Bank, supporting Schwab Advisor Services initiatives,
and promoting Schwab's $400 billion mutual fund business. He
started his career in public relations at the Pacific Exchange as
corporate communications manager.
A former editor
of San Francisco Business Magazine and reporter at the San Francisco
Examiner, Burlington Free Press and Livingston Enterprise, Morrison
received his bachelor's degree in political science and environmental
studies from the University of Vermont.
